 Industrial Films  
A major part of our business is dedicated to film used for industrial packaging. Product quality, consistency, and customer service have yielded a broad customer base, including both small users, and large household names.  Collation Shrink  
From the purely functional, through to high-quality printed films in up to eight colours for consumer multi-packs. Available for single or twin feed applications, and including high gloss / clarity, controlled opening and non-fusion shrink.
 Medical & Surgical  
Britton Taco has been an established supplier to the medical field for more than a decade, providing a variety of films for use as a component layer in a number of medical applications such as equipment / patient drapes, and operating room accessories.
 Hygiene Films  
As an industry leader and global player in the hygiene disposables market, we produce a wide range of both cast and blown film products for use in the Adult protection, Baby care / diapers, and Femcare / Feminine Hygiene industries.
 Biodegradable Films  
Totally biodegradable plastic films that degrade to carbon-dioxide (or methane) and water are offered under the name "BioFlex" for applications such as retail carrier bags, refuse sacks, compost bags, shrink films, food packaging films, liquid packaging films, mailing films, agriculture and document security films.

 Shrink sheeting

The industrial shrink sheeting range includes products which can be used for weatherproof collation of palletised products, or individual items in applications such as construction materials (bricks & blocks), timber, furniture, and white goods.

There are several products in this family depending on the demands of the final application. These range from very basic heavy duty shrink wraps through to super yield options based on the Duralite™ technology.

Film can be supplied on the reel for use on automatic shrink-wrapping systems, and can be supplied plain or printed in widths up to 3000mm.

Generally films are clear (natural) but can also be produced in a range of colours.

Films are available micro or punch perforated to assist in reducing condensation when packing warm products such as plasterboard (drywall).

Blown mono.......Films may be produced in a wide range of configurations including single wound sheet, double wound sheet, centre-fold sheet, lay flat tube, gusseted lay flat tube, J-fold etc. Blown co-extruded.......Reduced risk of pin-holing, with stonger, faster, sealing properties. SWS.......Single wound sheeting LFT.......Lay flat tubing Gusseted.......Gusseted lay flat tubing CFS.......Centre fold sheet Anti-microbial.......Antimicrobial film is one of the most promising applications of active packaging where the active ingredient is released from the film onto the surface (food packaging/surgical drape etc.) and inhibits the surface growth of microorganisms. Bio-degradable.......Totally bio-degradable plastic films that biodegrade to Carbon Dioxide (or Methane) and Water. The same optical and physical properties as an equivalent non-biodegradable film. Supported by independent testing for eco-toxicity levels.
DWS.......Double wound sheet High clarity.......Highly transparent film designed for use in combination with high quality print. High gloss.......Specifically developed with take-home consumer multi-packs in mind. It can be combined with high-quality print for enhanced on-the-shelf customer appeal. Micro perforation.......Film is fully perforated with needle perfs to allow pack to breathe, reducing risk of can/crown corrosion by trapped condensation. Print (Overprint).......High quality flexographic print in up to eight colours, with a maximum repeat length of 1150mm. Common packs include basic barcoded film through to high-quality consumer multi-packs. Punch perforated.......Also known as macro-perforated. Film is perforated with 10mm holes for increased dissipation of condensation. Perforations can be positioned in desired areas. Treated.......Using corona treatment the film surface is prepared using high-voltage charge to ensure adhesion of printing inks.
